LoadandRange

Electric scooters checked against heavy riders and long trips, using the makers' own figures.

How this site works

What it covers

Electric scooters with a published max load of 265 lb or more, and the rules that apply to riding them in the states and cities listed on the rules page. The site exists to answer one narrow question well: will this scooter carry this rider this far, by the maker's own numbers.

How figures are checked

Every spec starts on the maker's product page. It is then compared with a second published spec listing. Matching figures are tagged "2 sources". A figure that differs is shown as "not confirmed yet" and is kept out of the trip check. A figure the maker does not give is shown as "not published", never estimated. Each page carries the date its figures were read.

Rules are read from the statute or the official city page and checked against a second official or published copy where one exists.

Testing

Nothing on this site comes from our own riding or range testing. The site compares published figures; it does not measure scooters.

Money

There are no ads and no paid placements. Links to maker pages are plain links. If the site later joins an affiliate program, pages with those links will say so at the top.
